Michael Lansdell

Michael Lansdell (Managing Partner)

Michael is a Chartered Accountant and a qualified Financial Planner with strong business and communications skills. Brought up and educated in South Africa, he gained his Honours degree in 1991. He went on to complete his training with international accounting firm Deloitte in 1994, and became a founding Partner at Lansdell & Rose a year later. He combines a strategic approach with robust attention to detail.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall strategy for Lansdell & Rose.
  • Recruitment of the best people to implement and deliver the services of the firm.
  • Researching new opportunities for the growth and expansion of the business.
  • Reviewing the types of services that the firm offers, and updating these as the business environment changes.

Louis Harmse

Louis Harmse (Client Services Director)

Louis is the longest serving member of the Lansdell & Rose team, having joined the firm in 2005. A highly experienced accountant, he has a special focus on management accounting, and systems to improve efficiency. Extremely client oriented, Louis combines a hard working approach with strong technical skills, and a commitment to fast turnarounds both on the work undertaken by the Lansdell & Rose team, and responding to client emails and phone calls. He is responsible for the technical output at the firm and supports all of our clients’ compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all technical work, the technical team and operational systems and processes.
  • Meeting all deadlines for clients.
  • Working with clients to introduce greater efficiency into their bookkeeping and accounting processes to save clients time

Chloe Hudson

Chloe Hazelby (Practice Manager)

Client focused, friendly and supportive, Chloe is Lansdell & Rose’s Practice Manager. She is hard-working and well organised, and brings her multi-tasking skills to bear to ensure our office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivery of initial services and take-on to new clients of the practice.
  • Managing the many back office systems to ensure operations run smoothly for our clients and the team.
  • Office management, IT, specifically to support our cloud-based systems.


Katie Wride

Katie Wride (Senior Client Co-ordinator)

As Senior Client Co-ordinator, Katie is not only helpful and client focused, she is also highly organised. Katie uses her excellent communications skills to assist clients on a day-to-day basis with their accounts and tax affairs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Connecting with clients regularly to ensure their finances are on track throughout the year.
  • Co-ordination of clients’ personal tax affairs.
  • Managing our many back office systems to ensure operations run smoothly for our clients and the team.
  • Delivery of initial services and take-on to new clients of the practice.
  • Company marketing, helping keep our clients informed of additional services that may be of benefit by managing the website, newsletter and blog.

Kate Lewicka

Kate Lewicka (Client Accountant)

Kate supports our clients by helping with bookkeeping and processing client information. She is organised, methodical and a good technician with a great willingness to help clients. Kate has a bookkeeping qualification and is making good progress with her AAT qualification.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with keeping their financial records up to date on a regular basis through the year.
  • Requesting and processing missing information, saving clients time and ensuring they have claimed the most tax relief possible.
  • Accounts assistant duties.

Drew Hudson

Drew Hudson (Accounts Assistant)

Drew was born in London and has had extensive experience in Client Relations all over the world.  This is his first full-time job in commerce. He supports the team with the day-to-day running of the office. He is friendly, organised,  approachable, and always willing to help.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone calls, assisting clients where possible, meeting and greeting visitors to the office.
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, packages.
  • Ensuring that the office runs smoothly.
  • Other office assistant duties.
